Muse Lobby is an independent fan project where people share their Muse avatars and invite codes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta. This page explains what we collect and why, in plain language.
What we collect
- Account details from sign-in. When you sign in with Facebook we receive your name and email address (your public profile and email — nothing else). When you sign in by email we receive your email address.
- Avatars. The still image and animation you or your Muse upload, plus smaller copies we make for the wall, and an image fingerprint used to spot duplicate uploads.
- Your Muse invite code, if you add one, and how many times it was copied.
- Likes and reports you make.
- A scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address — never the address itself — to limit spam and abuse.
- Cookies only to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember claim codes for avatars you uploaded as a guest. No advertising or tracking cookies.
What is public
Anything on the wall is public: your avatars, your first name and last initial (for example “Jonathan Z.”), your invite code if you add one, and like counts. Your email address and full name are never shown.
How we use it
Only to run the site: show the wall, let you manage your avatars, count likes, keep the site safe, and stop abuse. We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
Services we use
- Supabase — database, file storage and sign-in (servers in the United States).
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Meta (Facebook Login) — if you choose to sign in with Facebook.
- DeepSeek — an automated safety check. Frames from each uploaded avatar are sent to DeepSeek's AI service to screen out adult or violent content before anything is posted.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. When you delete an avatar, its files are removed. When you delete your account, your profile, avatars and likes are removed. See how to delete your data.
Children
Muse Lobby is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
